NATURALLY DERIVED INGREDIENTS
Some of our ingredients derive from natural ingredients meaning that they are taken from an originally natural source and processed into an ingredient that helps to create the products we make like emulsifiers, humectants, preservatives etc.
Derived from the seaweed, emulsifier, thickening agent, stabilizer
Coconut derived humectants, emollient, preservative, increases the antimicrobial activity of certain preservatives
Disodium Cocoglucoside Sulfosuccinate
Glucose (sugar) derived surfactant
Thickening agent, stabilizer
Extracted from the guar bean, emulsifier, thickening agent, stabilizer
Ingredients that help reduce moisture loss from the skin
Derived from rose ether, prevents microbial contamination
From coconut oil, used as a stabilizer, extremely mild emulsifier, helps hold water soluble and water insoluble ingredients together
Ingredients used to prevent the contamination of yeast and mold
From the mountain ash berry, natural preservative, protects products from mold and fungus
Baking soda neutralizes acid, making products less irritating, balances pH
Sodium Coco Sulfate
Natural derived surfactant made from 100% coconut oil
Sodium Lauryl Glucose Carboxylate and Lauryl Glycoside
A natural, gentle, surfactant made from a reaction between coconut/palm oil and starch/sugar
Fatty acid naturally occurring in cocoa butter, emulsifying agent used to thicken and stabilize products, with emollient, skin softening properties
One example of a surfactant is soap. We use plant based surfactants in our body wash and hair care which are used to break the surface tension of water so that it can penetrate more fully. The foaming action of a soap surfactant helps water get under dirt and grease on surfaces like dishes, hands, and fabrics, allowing the water to carry the dirt away.
Vegetable Emulsifying Wax
Coconut derived emulsifier, stabilizer and thickener
From vegetable oil, humectants, long used as a skin beautifier, pulls water from the air and binds it to the skin, a by-product of the soap making process, emollient
Derived from corn sugar, firming, thickener, emulsifier, and stabilizer.
