Habilitat is located in Kaneohe, Hawaii and is recognized as one of the most successful treatment programs in the world. We are a two and a half year live-in experience that challenges residents on every level. With over 37 years of continued excellence and success, we have helped thousands of people from all ethnic, socio-economic, and educational backgrounds. We specialize in helping people overcome problems with substance abuse and anti-social behavior. We have the unique ability to change people who have lost hope into hardworking, responsible, caring human beings who are a benefit to society.

Lanakila Learning Center LLC is an alternative learning center of Hilo High School that provides comprehensive services to predominantly Native Hawaiian 10th-12th graders, male and female, identified as at-risk of school failure. The LLC also addresses multiple risk factors through research-based components in Academic Development, Personal Development, Cultural Enrichment, Career Development, Recreational Enrichment, and Family Enrichment. Small group and 1 to 1 mentors plan an integral role in supporting a program structure that incorporates innovative teaching techniques, addresses multiple intelligences, and emphasizes a personalized learning environment. The goals of the LLC include: increase high school graduation, increase health and fitness, increase literacy rates, develop social skills and a sense of respect and responsibility, develop attitudes and skills for the workplace and provide exploration of higher education and career interests.

Hawaiian Body Products has had the opportunity to work with The Lanakila Learning Center in a mutually supportive partnership that provides HBP with handmade massage tools (lomi sticks) that in turn help to fund The Lanakila Learning Center.

Robin Williams, Sales Manager, has over 20 years of sales and marketing experience. She runs the day to day opera- tions of Hawaiian Body Products along with husband Chris Rooke, Production Manager, Executive Chef and master of making things work!

Kila Peterson is the Creative Genius behind the Ola Hawai'i product line. She has been in the Bath and Body industry for over 15 years and was co-founder of a successful natural product line with 5 stores in California.

Hawai'i is a unique state in America, filled with natural wonders, bountiful in fruits and flowers, rich in island cultures, kupuna (wise elder) knowledge, a land full of mana (strong earth spirit and power), and big on ALOHA. A perfect place to produce authentic Hawaiian natural and organic spa products.

What sets us apart from our competition?

We use only ingredients that can be found in Hawai'i. We make our own hydrosols ("soul" of the plant) infusing locally grown and wild crafted botanicals in an ancient copper distilling processes. We buy from and support our local farmers using all natural and organic ingredients whenever possible. We value the ancient wisdom passed down by our elders and we handcraft everything with reverence and respect. All the botanicals, fruit, sea elements and oils we use for a reason and because they have a connection that is valued by our Hawaiian elders.
